2 charged with murder in death of Mexican man in Winnipeg’s North End

A man and a woman who were already in police custody have been charged with second-degree murder in the March death of a man from Mexico who had been living in Manitoba for the previous two years.

The body of Diego Moscoza, 28, was found on March 17 outside on Pritchard Avenue near Aikins Street in Winnipeg’s North End. Authorities have been investigating his death as a homicide.

On Dec. 15, police arrested Taylor Linklater, 26, at the Headingley Correctional Centre and Noreen Thomas, 27, at the Women’s Correctional Centre. Both have been charged with second-degree murder and remain in custody.

A third person, 25-year-old Devlin Langlois, was arrested at a home on Powers Street on Wednesday on a charge of accessory after the fact to murder. She was detained in custody.

None of the allegations against the three accused have been tested in court.
