Man dead after ATV collision south of Winnipeg

Manitoba RCMP say one person is dead due to an ATV collision over the weekend.
Mounties responded to a report of a collision around 7:19 p.m. on Road 46 East in the RM of Tache, around 38 km southeast of Winnipeg.
When emergency crews arrived, they found a man pinned under an ATV that had flipped.
It is believed that he had lost control of his ATV while trying to make a turn, and the ATV landed on top of him.
RCMP say the 46-year-old man from the RM of Tache, was pronounced dead at the scene. They note that he was not wearing a helmet at the time.
An investigation is ongoing, but alcohol is not believed to be a factor in the incident.
