Woman charged with manslaughter in December North End death

A second person has been charged in connection with the death of a 37-year-old man in Winnipeg’s North End last winter.
The Winnipeg Police Service says Caleb Johnston died of an apparent gunshot wound at a home on Arlington Street on the afternoon of Dec. 12, 2025.
Three days later, Hugh Switzer, 32, was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and other firearm-related offences.
The WPS major crimes unit continued investigating.
Now several months later, on Saturday, Honesty Cullen, also 32, was arrested and charged with manslaughter. She was detained in custody.
The allegations against both accused have not been tested in court.
