Man’s body found near burning pickup truck at storage facility in Carman

RCMP are investigating a suspicious death at a storage facility after a man was found dead outside of a burning vehicle in Carman. Koby Mitchell reports.

Mounties are investigating a man’s death in a town southwest of Winnipeg on Monday.

RCMP say a man’s body was found near a burning vehicle in Carman overnight.

Officers were called to the vehicle fire inside the Bring-N-Lock Self Storage compound on 2nd Street NE around 1:15 a.m. They arrived to find a vehicle fully engulfed in flames.

CityNews was at the scene Monday afternoon. Police officers and evidence markers could be seen near a burnt-out pickup truck.

The RCMP’s major crime services is investigating.
