Manitoba RCMP say four teens are facing charges after gunshots were reported in Pimicikamak Cree Nation on Wednesday night.
Around 10 p.m. on Oct. 22, Mounties responded to reports of shots fired near Egg Lake and Beardy’s Point, in Pimicikamak Cree Nation.
Reports also indicated that a group of around six were seen assaulting a man near the area where the shots were heard.
Following a patrol of the area, police were unable to find the victim, but were able to find four teens who matched the description provided. The four were walking along a roadway.
Mounties approached the four and were able to take them into custody without incident.
While in custody, police were able to find and seize “a semi-automatic firearm, which one of the suspects attempted to hide in his clothing, a magazine, which was located in another suspect’s possession, additional rounds of ammunition for the firearm in a third suspect’s possession, and a backpack containing crack cocaine and Canadian currency.”

The four teens — one 17-year-old and three 15-year-olds — were taken to the Cross Lake RCMP Detachment, where they were remanded into custody. They are facing numerous firearm and drug-related charges.
Through a further investigation, police found a pickup truck that had been shot numerous times, with no reported injuries.
