Woman in 20s fatally stabbed in Winnipeg West End apartment: police

Winnipeg police say a woman in her 20s died in hospital after allegedly being stabbed at an apartment in the city’s West Broadway neighbourhood Monday evening.
The Winnipeg Police Service says it was called to the home on Furby Street around 5:35 p.m.
The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition, where she died of her injuries.
Police say a suspect, a woman in her 20s, was inside the suite when officers arrived. She was charged with robbery and second-degree murder and detained in custody.
The homicide unit is investigating.
