Man in custody within first day of most wanted website launch

In the first 24 hours following the announcement of Manitoba’s new website, which shows the province’s most wanted, the Manitoba Integrated Violent Offender Apprehension Unit (MIVOAU) has taken a man into custody.

Winnipeg police say 27-year-old Ethan Onabigon was taken into custody by MIVOAU.

Onabigon was wanted on six outstanding warrants for breaching court orders and has also been charged with 3 new charges for breaching court orders.

Winnipeg police says anyone who has any information regarding anyone on Manitoba’s Most Wanted list can contact their local police or Crime Stoppers at 204-786-8477.
