Winnipeg police say all three suspects wanted in connection with the alleged attempted murder of a 27-year-old woman late last year have now been arrested.

Police are investigating after a woman was allegedly physically assaulted at a home on Carlton Street, tied up and left in a dumpster on Dec. 10, 2023.

Officers first arrested Romeo Chris Miles, 27, on Dec. 22 and charged him with robbery, forcible confinement, and two counts of failure to comply with the condition of release order.

Joey Michael Audy, 35, then turned himself in to police on Dec. 26. He was charged with attempting to commit murder, assault causing bodily harm, uttering threats, robbery, and forcible confinement.

Winnipeg police say a third suspect, Evelyn McKay, was arrested by members of the sex crimes unit Tuesday night on a warrant for robbery and forcible confinement. She remains in police custody.

Police say no further arrests are anticipated.
