Police identify ‘armed and dangerous’ suspects in fatal Mulvey Avenue shooting

By News Staff

Winnipeg police have issued arrest warrants for second-degree murder for two suspects in connection with a fatal shooting last week.

The Winnipeg Police Service says it responded Wednesday night to a shooting at an apartment building on Mulvey Avenue near Hugo Street N.

On Friday police identified the victim as 46-year-old Damion Wayne Skrumeda.

Police have now identified two suspects: Randy Blake Flett, 25, and Jerrin Macintyre, 28, are “considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.”

Police describe Flett as six-foot-five weighing about 250 pounds. He is from The Pas and was last living in Winnipeg.

Macintyre, of Winnipeg, is described as five-foot-nine weighing about 135 pounds.

Winnipeg police say a live improvised explosive device (IED) that posed a danger to public safety was found Friday during that ongoing homicide investigation.

After the apartment building was evacuated, police say the IED was “safely disrupted.”
