15-year-old dies after stabbing in northern Manitoba

Manitoba RCMP say a 15-year-old is dead after being stabbed in the community of Berens River First Nation.

Around 9:07 a.m. on March 20, Mounties responded to a report of a stabbing at a home in the First Nation, roughly 350 km north of Winnipeg.

Mounties attended the home and found a 15-year-old boy suffering from injuries; however, he was later declared dead at the scene.

Police are investigating the death as a homicide.
