Winnipeg woman wins Lotto Max Maxmillions

WINNIPEG (CityNews) – A Winnipeg woman has won $1 million from a Lotto Max ticket.
Following Lotto Max’s Feb. 26 draw, Nadiya Krasko’s discovered she was $1 million richer.
“I was shocked, but so happy,” she said, adding she raced home to tell her family about her win.
“We were all in disbelief,” she continued. “We even took the ticket to another store the next day to make sure we were seeing things right.”
Following her victory, Krasko explained that she had some big life changes in the works.
“I’m looking forward to retirement. It’s a dream for me. After I retire, I’m going to help my family financially. I’d also like to do some travelling when it’s safe to travel again.”
The $1 million ticket was purchased at Graham Convenience Store in Winnipeg.
