6 charged, 2 facing charges after Winnipeg police seize over $275k of drugs, firearms

Six people have been charged, and two more are facing charges in what Winnipeg police are calling a significant seizure of drugs and weapons.
WPS says officers were able to seize around $278,500 worth of firearms, prohibited devices, cocaine, cash, vehicles, and other property following a months-long investigation that began in March.
During the investigation, WPS worked alongside the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) and were able to identify several suspects and addresses connected to the sale of prohibited firearms and firearm parts.
On Aug. 11, officers conducted searches at homes along Maryland Street, Aubert Street and Belton Street, where they were able to find and seize a .22 calibre rifle with ammunition, a .38 calibre handgun, a 5.56 calibre assault rifle, and three Glock auto-sears. In addition, investigators seized approximately 513 grams of cocaine (Estimated Street Value: $43,500), approximately $77,000 CAD in currency, a money counter, as well as vehicles, e-bikes, and other property with a combined estimated value of approximately $158,000.
Police were also able to take 21-year-old Cameron Kane Henderson, 24-year-old Andrew Dennis Henderson, 19-year-old Ian Jacob Green, 43-year-old Rhiannon Quinn Robson, 34-year-old Kyle Neal Swampy, and 23-year-old Haily Roberta Robson into custody/ All six have been charged with various offences relating to drug trafficking, firearm trafficking, or both.
Two more women, an 18-year-old and a 23-year-old, were also taken into custody and are facing charges.
