Assiniboine Park Zoo to close for maintenance starting Monday

Winnipeg’s Assiniboine Park Zoo will be closed for two weeks starting on Jan. 6, and the biomes at The Leaf will also be closed starting Jan. 13.

The zoo will be closed for annual maintenance starting Monday, which will include the removal of Zoo Lights, minor repairs, and deep cleaning of buildings.

This closure will last two weeks, and the zoo will reopen on Jan. 18 with regular daytime hours.

Additionally, the biomes at the Leaf will be closed from Jan. 13-15 and Jan. 27-29.

This closure will take place for a display change and garden maintenance.

The Leaf will reopen from Jan. 16-26 for the Fleurs de Villes ARTISTE show, before resuming regular hours on Jan. 30.
