Double homicide in Portage la Prairie was targeted, RCMP say

Mounties in Manitoba are investigating the double homicide of a man and woman in Portage La Prairie.

Police believe it was targeted, and there is no danger to the public.

They add the 42-year-old man and 37-year-old woman were in a relationship.

Officers were called to a home Sunday around 10:30 p.m., where they found the bodies of the victims.

Portage la Prairie RCMP and RCMP Major Crime Services and Forensic Identification Services are investigating.
