35-year-old man arrested in theft of daycare play structure: WPS

Winnipeg police (WPS) arrested a 35-year-old man Tuesday in connection with the theft of a play structure.

WPS said its Major Crimes Unit was investigating play structure had been stolen from a daycare on last week from Headingly.

On Tuesday, investigators located the play structure at a residence in the 100 block of Stranmillis Avenue while executing a search warrant.

They also found a stolen recreational vehicle (RV).

Police arrested the 35-year-old man and took him into custody.

He has been charged with two counts of Break Enter and Theft.

The allegations have yet to be proven in court.
