$430K in illegal cannabis, 25 guns seized in Flin Flon: RCMP

Manitoba RCMP says it has seized nearly half a million dollars in illegal cannabis products in Flin Flon.

On Apr. 30, Mounties executed a search warrant at a home in Flin Flon, that was believed to be running an illegal cannabis store.

During the search, RCMP were able to find and seize over $430,000 of products, including the following items;

  • Dried cannabis;
  • $90,000 in cash;
  • Thousands of individually packaged cannabis gummies;
  • Hundreds of cannabis-infused chocolate bars;
  • Hundreds of vials of shatter;
  • Cannabis extracts;
  • Resins and other cannabis derivates;
  • Multiple pounds of psilocybin;
  • 25 firearms.

Mounties note all of the cannabis products did not contain the proper Manitoba Taxation stamps.

Since, a 42-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman were taken into custody. They are facing charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession of property obtained by a crime, and several other firearm and drug-related charges.

Both have since been released and are expected to appear in court on August 1.
