18-year-old Ukrainian newcomer confirmed dead: Police

Winnipeg police have confirmed 18-year-old Ukrainian newcomer Nikita Boiarskyi has been found dead.
“No foul play suspected, and the family has requested no contact during this difficult time,” said Cst. Dani McKinnon, Winnipeg Police Service.
Earlier this week, Boiarskyi’s family was desperately looking for him, after he was last seen on May 21.

It is believed he left a doctor’s appointment around 10 a.m. and was not heard from after that.
At this time, police have not confirmed where he was found, or how he died.
The family has set up a GoFundMe to cover funeral costs.
