Just before midnight on Monday, police say they followed a pick-up truck after it made an “evasive” turn in front of the officers. The truck drove toward Burrows Avenue and Parr Street, where it came to a stop and the driver attempted to flee on foot.

Police were able to quickly catch the man, and he was later identified as the main suspect in the death of Duck.

Police allege at the time he was taken into custody, the suspect was in possession of a small amount of drugs, and the truck he was driving was reported stolen.

WPS have charged 50-year-old Adam Joseph Morrissette with second-degree murder. He was also charged with possession of property obtained by a crime over $5,000, and two counts of possession of a scheduled substance.
