Man crossing Henderson Highway on foot fatally struck by vehicle: WPS

Winnipeg police say a 32-year-old man was crossing Henderson Highway on foot on Sunday morning when he was fatally struck by a vehicle.
The Winnipeg Police Service says the man was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he was pronounced dead.
Police say it happened just before 5:20 a.m. on Henderson Highway and Neil Avenue.
The driver, who was driving north on Henderson, called 911. Police say they remained on scene and spoke with officers.
The WPS traffic division is investigating.
