Winnipeg police investigating fatal shooting

Winnipeg police are investigating the death of a man who was fatally shot on Friday.

WPS says around 8:45 p.m. on Apr. 26, officers responded to a report of a shooting along Flora Avenue.

When officers arrived, they found a man who was suffering from gunshot wounds.

Police provided emergency medical care before the man was taken to hospital in critical condition where he later died from his injuries.

The man was identified as 28-year-old Bill Brian Duck from God’s Lake Narrows First Nation. Police also confirmed he had recently moved to Winnipeg.
