Woman arrested in 1-year-old’s death on northern Manitoba First Nation

Police say a one-year-old boy is dead on a northern Manitoba First Nation, and a woman was arrested.
Island Lake RCMP say officers responded to the child’s death on Wasagamack First Nation around 9:15 a.m. Saturday.
The boy’s death is being investigated as a homicide.
A 26-year-old woman was arrested; she remains in custody. RCMP say no other suspects are wanted.
RCMP are investigating.
