Man fatally struck by train in Portage la Prairie: RCMP

RCMP say a man has died after being hit by a train Tuesday morning.
Mounties from Portage la Prairie say around 6:30 a.m. officers responded to the collision at 8th Street NW.
The man hit by the train was taken to hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
RCMP along with Canadian Pacific railway are investigating the collision.
