49-year-old Winnipeg woman identified as victim in fatal West End shooting

A 49-year-old Winnipeg woman was identified as the victim in a fatal shooting in West End Tuesday morning.

Police say Lori Gordon was killed in a shooting on Beverley Street near Ellice Avenue.

The WPS received a report around 6 a.m. They arrived to find Gordon deceased with gunshot wounds.

A second victim, a 35-year-old woman, was transported to hospital in unstable condition. She has been upgraded to stable condition.

The homicide unit is investigating.
