After speaking with some of the families, police recovered four packages of THC candies and a home was identified to be the possible residence where the candies were handed out.

Both have since been released and are expected to appear in court at a later date.

Winnipeg police encourages parents to carefully check through all their children’s candy.

If parents do discover THC items or anything else out of the ordinary with candy, they are asked to avoid handling it as much as possible, set it in a safe place and contact police at 204-986-6219.
