WPS looking for suspect in murder of a 30-year-old man

WINNIPEG – Winnipeg police are looking for a group of suspects in a Sunday assault that cost one man his life.
Early Sunday morning, around 1:18, WPS responded to an assault near Polo Park on St. Matthews Avenue near Empress Street.
Police found a man–who has since been identified as 30-year-old Anthony Gonzales–with serious injuries after being beaten up by a group of people.
He was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The homicide unit is now looking for the people responsible for Gonzales’ death.
