Pedestrian injured in collision on Notre Dame and McPhillips

Winnipeg police say a 51-year-old woman was taken to hospital with significant injuries are she was struck by a vehicle around 11:50 p.m. Wednesday night, near McPhillips Street and Notre Dame Avenue.

The Winnipeg Police Service the driver was cooperative, and at this point the incident is being investigated as non-criminal.

Police cadets were on scene diverting traffic for several hours during rush hour.

Authorities say the victim has since been upgraded to stable condition.
