Murder charge laid in Arlington Street death: Winnipeg police

Winnipeg police say a 32-year-old man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with a man’s death last week in North End.
The Winnipeg Police Service says Caleb Johnston, 37, died of an apparent gunshot wound at a home on Arlington Street on Dec. 12.
Three days later, Hugh Switzer was arrested and charged. He was detained in police custody awaiting further disposition.
The allegation has not been tested in court.
