Several school division in Manitoba cancelled classes Monday, largely due to very poor road conditions and cold temperatures.
With yet another clipper system passing through the province, blizzard-like conditions such as blowing snow and gusty winds made driving dangerous in some areas.
The following schools were closed Monday.
- All schools in the Red River Valley School Division
- All schools in the Lord Selkirk School Division
- All schools in the Lakeshore School Division
- Two schools in the Division Scolaire Franco-Manitobaine (École Aurèle Lemoine and École Saint-Georges)
