Winnipeg residential parking ban lifted

Winnipeg’s residential parking ban has ended.

The ban was in effect from Sunday morning to Tuesday night, as crews cleared the roads of snow.

“We thank all Winnipeggers for their patience and cooperation,” the city wrote in a brief news release.

If any streets were not cleared, residents are asked to call 311.

As a result of the residential parking ban ending, the annual winter route parking ban has resumed. Parking is prohibited on designated streets from 2 a.m. to 7 a.m. every morning.
