Winnipeg police locate vehicle connected to recent abduction, homicide

Editor’s note: Winnipeg police issued a statement Friday morning, stating the vehicle had been found.

Winnipeg police say they’ve located the vehicle that is believed to be connected to the abduction and death of 22-year-old Zeyad Shammo.

WPS says the vehicle in question is a black 2018 Honda Civic Touring, with four doors. The vehicle is believed to have the license plate LLN113, however, police note the license plate could have been changed or removed.

Earlier this week, two people were charged in connection to the death of Shammo.

Thursday police issued a statement asking for help finding the vehicle and urged that if the vehicle is found, not to touch it, as it is part of their investigation.
