Woman struck by pickup truck on McPhillips Street in unstable condition: police

Winnipeg police say a woman was hospitalized in unstable condition with serious injuries after being struck by a pickup truck on Monday evening.

Police say the woman was attempting to cross west on McPhillips Street at Machray Avenue when she was hit by a Nissan Titan that was driving north around 9:30 p.m.

Authorities say the identity of the woman is not yet known.

The 50-year-old driver of the pickup truck remained on scene and spoke to officers, the WPS says.

The traffic division’s collision investigation section is investigating.
