Winnipeg police say a second man has been charged after a child-like sex doll was discovered in a package by border security in August.
WPS says in August, the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA) in Vancouver intercepted a package that was heading to Winnipeg, and alerted the WPS’s Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit of the package.
On Aug. 29, investigators in Winnipeg took the package into custody, and were able to determine that the contents inside the package were a sex doll anatomically designed to look like a pre-pubescent child.
Through an investigation, police learned that a suspect had ordered several similar items between Oct. 2023 and Aug. 2024. Following this, a search warrant was executed at a home in Fort Richmond, where officers were able to find and seize 20 anatomically correct female dolls ranging from newborn to early teens were located along with clothing/accessories intended for the dolls.
Police note that “some of the dolls had been physically altered from their original state.”
Since, 45-year-old Jonathan Paul Sirski has been charged with three charges relating to child pornography.
This is the second incident police have investigated over the last month involving a child-like sex doll.
