4-year-old dies from injuries after being hit by truck in Brandon

Brandon police say a child has died after being hit by a vehicle on Monday.
Police responded to a report of a collision just before 3:30 p.m., along Victoria Avenue in Brandon.
Reports indicated that the 4-year-old boy ran from a business parking lot, and into the side of a trailer that was being towed by a half-ton truck.
The boy was taken to Brandon Regional Health Center before being taken to Winnipeg Children’s Hospital in serious condition via STARS.
Police confirmed Wednesday, that the boy had died from his injuries late Tuesday night.
