2 charged in connection to firearms investigation

Police in Winnipeg say two people have been charged in connection to a firearms investigation.
WPS says on Feb. 2, officers executed a search warrant at a home on Waterfront Drive.
Police were able to seize a loaded Colt. 32 handgun, 1,019 grams of Cocaine (worth roughly $30,000), 109 Hydromorphone pills (worth $2,180), four cell phones, drug packaging materials, and identity documents.
As a result of the investigation and search, police have charged 18-year-old Ethan McLeod and 25-year-old Aleah Scott, with unauthorized possession of a firearm, possession of a loaded restricted/prohibited firearm, two counts of possession of a scheduled substance, and possession of proceeds obtained by a crime.
Scott is also facing additional charges of identity theft and identity fraud.
