Pedestrian killed after being hit along Pembina Highway Wednesday night

Winnipeg police say one person is dead following a collision along the Pembina Highway Wednesday night.
Around 10:20 p.m., officers responded to a report of a collision along the highway near Dalhousie Drive.
The highway was closed for several hours as police conducted an investigation into the cause of the collision.
During the initial stages of the investigation, police determined that a 21-year-old who was driving a Honda Accord was travelling north along the Pembina Highway when they hit a pedestrian.
The pedestrian was taken to hospital in critical condition and later died from their injuries.
