Homicide police investigate 20-year-old woman’s death in North End

Winnipeg homicide police are investigating the death of 20-year-old woman in North End early Tuesday morning.
The Winnipeg Police Service says officers responded to a report of a seriously injured woman on Burrows Avenue near Powers Street around 1:45 a.m.
The victim was taken to hospital in critical condition and died of her injuries.
North Point Douglas death
Homicide police are also investigating an unrelated incident at a multi-tenant home in North Point Douglas around 4:50 a.m.
Police say they were called to the home on Selkirk Avenue for the report of a suspicious death.
Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service crews, who were already on scene, located a man’s body and notified police.
