Winnipeg police find vehicle linked with possible woman in distress

Winnipeg police say the vehicle officers have been looking for since Tuesday afternoon has been located.

Tuesday afternoon, WPS issued a call to help after being alerted to a woman possibly in distress.

Officers say they were called about a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot in the 600 block of St. James Street at around 12:30 p.m.

Initially, they were told a woman in the vehicle looked to be in distress.

The vehicle has been described as a silver Volkswagen Tiguan with a Manitoba Licence plate, that reads either LFX 318 or HKF 122.

Police say the driver of the vehicle has been described as a man with a bald or shaved head.

The vehicle was found unoccupied in the 1900 block of Ross Avenue.
