Winnipeg police say a woman died after a two-vehicle crash in the Tyndall Park neighbourhood early Saturday morning.

The Winnipeg Police Service says the collision happened around 12:30 a.m. at the intersection of Inkster Boulevard and King Edward Street.

The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service were first on the scene.

Officers arrived to learn the woman – one of the drivers of a vehicle involved in the crash – had already died.

Police say the woman has yet to be identified.

The driver of the second vehicle, a 21-year-old man, was taken to hospital in stable condition.

The WPS traffic division is investigating.
