Pedestrian killed in multi-vehicle collision in Polo Park: police

Winnipeg police say a man was fatally struck by a vehicle in the Polo Park area early Saturday morning.
The Winnipeg Police Service says a collision involving two vehicles and the pedestrian happened around 2:45 a.m. on Century Street between Portage Avenue and Academy Road.
Officers say the pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and sustained serious bodily injury.
The victim was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He has yet to be identified.
The drivers of the vehicles and other witnesses remained on the scene to speak with investigators.
Members of the traffic division are investigating.
