Man in hospital following shooting on Spence Street: police

Winnipeg police say three people are in custody following a shooting in the Central District on Monday.
Around 8:45 p.m. officers say they responded to a call of gunshots being fired on Spence Street near Cumberland Avenue.
When they arrived, officers noticed a man suffering from gunshot wounds. He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital in critical condition.
Police say three suspects who were in the area were taken into custody.
An investigation is ongoing.
