The Oakland Athletics released a statement Tuesday saying police are investigating after four people were struck by bullet fragments from celebratory Fourth of July gunfire following Monday’s game against the Toronto Blue Jays.

The A’s held a post-game fireworks show, after which police were notified that three people inside RingCentral Coliseum had been hit by bullet fragments.

A fourth person later walked into a local hospital.

The statement said all four victims sustained non-life-threatening injuries and the Oakland Police Department and Crime Stoppers of Oakland are offering a reward of up to $20,000 USD leading to an arrest(s).

The United States’ Independence Day was marred by gun violence as seven people were killed and at least 30 others were wounded after a man opened fire during a parade in suburban Chicago. A 22-year-old male, identified as a person of interest, was later taken into custody.

The Chicago White Sox held a moment of silence before their home game against the Minnesota Twins and cancelled their post-game fireworks show.
