Transit rider tests positive for COVID-19

WINNIPEG (CityNews) – Manitoba health officials have confirmed a Winnipeg Transit rider has tested positive for COVID-19.

The transit rider took route 412 on Sept. 14 and 15, from the Headmaster/Mildred stop to John Pritchard School, from roughly 8:15 a.m. to 8:40 a.m.

The same person took the return route from around 3 p.m. to 3:25 p.m. on those days.

Manitoba Health is advising all those who were on the route during those times to monitor for symptoms, and get tested if symptoms develop.

Winnipeg Transit officials have also been notified and are following up.
