Winnipeg police investigate attempted abduction

WINNIPEG (CityNews) – Winnipeg police are investigating a possible abduction of a 10-year-old girl.
The alleged incident happened on Sept. 11, around 12:20 p.m. in a strip mall near Kildare Avenue East and Wayota Street.
Police say the preteen told investigators that she had been approached by to young men who grabbed her and then tried to force her into a vehicle.
One of the suspects is described as about 16-years-old, black, tall with an average build and was wearing a red maroon sweater with a stripe.
Not much is known about the other suspect, other than that he was Indigenous or black.
The vehicle is described as a black or blue sport utility vehicle or truck.
