MMF could leave Métis National Council

The Manitoba Métis Federation has voted to give president David Chartrand the authority to explore leaving the Métis National Council, and form its own national organization. The resolution is rooted in disputes with the Métis Nation of Ontario, and its efforts to admit new members, which the MMF alleges do not qualify as Métis. Xiaoli Li explains.
