Joanne Roberts, known as Winnipeg’s “Reporter in Pink,” is a video journalist and backfill supervising producer at CityNews Winnipeg. With a background in film, theatre, and television, she brings an immersive storytelling approach to every piece she creates. She has produced multiple CityNews Connect episodes and was the creative lead behind the award-winning series I Am for CBC’s Creator Network. Her work spans from in-depth human-interest stories to major cultural events, offering viewers a different perspective. Whether reporting from the field or hosting in the studio, Joanne is dedicated to delivering stories that resonate.
