Body recovered near Manitoba hydro dam could be woman who fell through ice: police

Mounties in Manitoba say a woman’s body has been recovered near the south dike of the hydro dam in Grand Rapids.

It’s believed to be the 23-year-old who was reported missing in December when the truck she was in fell through the ice.

RCMP say her body was found May 25, and an autopsy is pending.

The body of a 31-year-old man who was also in the truck was recovered in January.
