40-year-old man dead after gun call on Selkirk Avenue

Winnipeg police say a 40-year-old man’s death is being investigated as a homicide.
The Winnipeg Police Service says Kingsley Murray Bruce, a member of Poplar River First Nation who was living in Winnipeg, was found injured at an apartment block on Selkirk Avenue Tuesday afternoon.
Authorities say they were responding to a gun call.
Bruce was taken to hospital in critical condition, where he died of his injuries.
The WPS homicide unit is investigating.
