4 men arrested in 35-year-old’s February death in North End

Winnipeg police say four suspects have been arrested in connection with a 35-year-old man’s death in the North End in February.

Matthew Robert Pelletier was found dead inside a home on Magnus Avenue near McGregor Street on the afternoon of Feb. 25.

Homicide detectives investigated and have now charged four men with second-degree murder: Derek Donald Franklin, 43, Charlie Bronson Keeper, 37, Eric Jade Wirffel, 40, Clinton William Wirffel, 40.

They were arrested between July 7 and 16.

None of the allegations have been tested in court.
