Road closures planned Sunday for annual Nagar Kirtan parade in Winnipeg

As Winnipeg’s Sikh community gears up for the annual Nagar Kirtan procession, drivers should expect delays as road closures will affect traffic downtown.
From 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, closures are expected on stretches of Memorial Boulevard, York Avenue and Broadway.
Parts of York Avenue, Garry Street and westbound Broadway will close for two hours around 12:45 p.m.
Transit will also be rerouted during the closures.
