2 people in hospital following collision southwest of Winnipeg

Manitoba RCMP say two people are in hospital following a two-vehicle collision southwest of Winnipeg.
Mounties responded to a report of a collision around 5:40 p.m. on Aug. 28 at the intersection of Highway 23 and Highway 3.
It is believed that an SUV that was driving east was crossing Highway 3 when it was hit by an SUV travelling south.
The force of the collision caused the eastbound SUV to roll into a ditch.
One of the drivers — a 51-year-old woman from Morden — was taken to a hospital in Winnipeg by STARS air ambulance. A 44-year-old man from Winkler who was a passenger in the vehicle was also taken to hospital. Both are in critical but stable condition.
The other driver — a 55-year-old man from Texas — was uninjured.
